About: dNaga

Claudine Naganuma was born and raised in San Francisco and currently lives and works in Oakland. She is the Artistic Director/Choreographer of dNaga, which was created in 2001. In addition to her work the dance company, she directs Danspace located in the Rockridge are of Oakland where her company is in residence. At the school she teaches ballet, modern, composition and Dance for PD. Claudine served as Artistic Director of Asian American Dance Performances from 1992-2004. She received her BA from Dominican College in English Literature and her MFA from Mills College in Dance.
