$15Artists Against Apartheid PRESENTS – Bay Area Cultural Resistance for Palestine: A Conversation on artwashing with Mama Ganuush (Palestinian Drag Artist + Activist) and Leila Mire (Choreographer, Educator & Activist) — facilitated by Nida Liftawiya (Artist + Activist).
Learn more about artwashing and pinkwashing, the role of dance/music as cultural resistance, and how this relates to how you make and consume art! In addition to a rich discussion — this event will also feature drag performance (by Mama Ganuush, herself) and opera (Matheus Coura).
