Butoh Classes San Francisco Rewilding Our Creative Body for Shapeshift 2026
Instructor Mary Power leads us in Rewilding Our Creative Body, art making explorations in Butoh dance. Expect directed Butoh improvisations and practices for Shapeshift 2026 choreography with shapes, balances, rolls, walks, crawls, spins.
Our Butoh classes support centered awareness of both the internal and external spatial environments of our own self in space time, and in relation with other earthlings. Dancing together improves our spontaneity and timing. Eventbrite registration is required
Dress in comfortable clothes, bring socks and long sleeved shirt. Classes will be filmed.
