Dance Writing and Criticism Workshop
October 13 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
$10pateldanceworks’ Artistic Director Dr. Bhumi B Patel will lead a workshop on dance writing for dancers/writers/dance writers at all stages! We’ll discuss the state of dance writing, look at samples of published writing, and craft a short piece to workshop with other participants. There will be some assigned reading sent ahead of time to prepare for the workshop.
The event is geared toward those interested in learning about dance writing and criticism. We welcome those with experience and those who are new to the form!
