A full weekend focusing on dancing, training dance callers, live stringband music, a host of workshops and family events. The weekend trains new callers and welcomes all dancers and musicians at any level. Friday Nov7 opens with dinner, drinks, a free jam session and square dance party at Gilman Brewing Company. Saturday & Sunday Nov 8-9 are hosted at Ashkenaz. Evening dances are open to the public. Square Dancing is inherently queer friendly, gender and generationally inclusive. Enjoy actual human connection with low expectations, little verbal discussion and lots of laughter.
