KAY PACHA Dance, Music and Stories from the Andes
Colorful costumes, joyful music and original dances blend in Valverde Dance’s production “KAY PACHA: Dance, Music and Stories from the Andes” on June 13-14 at the Mexican Heritage Theater in San Jose.
A special selection of folkloric dance pieces from the Andes will showcase directed by artist Luis Valverde, who has performed and taught traditional Andean dance in the US since 2000.
The show includes special guest musicians led by the two-time Latin Grammy Award nominated Bolivian composer Eddy Navia.
