Movement-Based Devising: From Gesture to Story

$60 – $200This movement-based workshop is designed for performers, dancers, and physical storytellers interested in using the body as the primary tool for devising new work. Drawing from Lecoq, mime, dance, and theater, participants will engage in movement research, group play, and solo explorations to develop physical narratives.
Through structured exercises, we’ll explore:

How to make bold, intuitive choices without overthinking.

Developing ideas in both individual and group dynamics.

Bridging the gap between abstract movement and theatrical storytelling.
