The debut of grappling with/haunted by what america+utopia might = will sit somewhere between a gathering and a performance and sees the return of Armentrout’s performative alter-ego known to many simply as “the lady in the black dress” in a dreamy timelapse world that blends the 2d with the 3d in order to  grapple with history and play with the idea of what an American utopia might look and feel like, all contextualized around the anxiety-sphere that is our collective and current present, in other words a look at where we are, where we might hope to be and how we might get there.
