Physical storytelling is a beginner-friendly movement workshop series at focused on  storytelling and developing your individual freestyle or performance.

In this workshop, we’ll go over drills & excercises for basic Tutting & Turfin. We’ll learn Turf Dance History at the end of class.

Hector “Intricate” Ascencio is a world-class dancer and educator repping Rock Force Crew and Assassins Crew out of Hayward, CA. As an ambassador of Oakland and the Bay Area, he’s credited with spreading the Oakland-born style also known as “turfing” worldwide and is recognized as an elite Tutter.
