Pop-Up Motion-Capture Workshop by Cie Gilles Jobin
The San Francisco Dance Film Festival presents the Pop-up Mocap Lab, a 3-day motion-capture workshop led by cutting-edge Swiss dance company Cie Gilles Jobin. This workshop is designed for artists interested in real-time motion capture and digital performance. Participants will experience dancing inside a digital environment and develop skills for performing in virtual spaces.
Session 1: March 23-25
Session 2: March 26-28
$250 per 3-day session
Each session can accommodate 6 dancers and 6 technologists (anyone interested in working with dance and mocap — choreographers, film directors, digital creators, etc.)
