Now in its 24th year, Summer Institute (SI) is a nationally-acclaimed, year-long professional development experience centered on the art of teaching dance to children of all ages. SI includes in-person intensives, Zoom sessions, and individualized coaching. Participants take a deep dive into child development, creativity, and learning theories, the elements of dance, and discover how to teach dance through the lens of inclusion and culturally responsive teaching.
In-person dates: July 13-17, January 16-17, May 22
No cost for selected applicants. Application due April 30
