A triple bill of dance works by Bay Area choreographers, Joe Landini, Alma Esperanza Cunningham, and Traci Cottam.
Red State, by Joe Landini explores the attitudes and ideas that make Red States red and Blue States blue. Great America, by Alma Esperanza-Cunningham, is a series of dances that explore the idea of identity, “growing up American.” Forthcoming, by Traci Cottam, is a hauntingly cerebral dance that portrays a single individual over time and space to help us see deeper into the mental state of the human psyche.
