A New Work by Margaret Jenkins Dance Company
Enter an exploratory voyage of movement, memory, and visual transformation as we investigate the universality of the wheel – the wheel of time, of chance, of seasons, of currents and of lies.
Be immersed in a constantly evolving landscape of dance, music, language, and visuals that ask: What happens if the circle breaks; can it be regenerated? At this deeply contentious moment in history, what meanings can we discover as audience and performers? How do we move forward?
This collage features dynamic dance imagery, a hand-drawn red "Wheel of Chance" on graph paper, and theatrical textures. Blurred and frozen dancers in color and black-and-white surround the central… diagram. A glossy blue surface reflects the elements, enhancing movement and depth.
