Woven Roots
Woven Roots is a bold celebration of unity, storytelling, and collective strength in diversity. It is a four-night performance series by eight St. Mary’s College of California MFA candidates, weaving stories of healing, identity, resilience, and multiculturalism through movement. Weekend one features Bobi Lott, Veronica Silk, Gwen Benitez, and Jess McNely. Weekend two showcases Karishma Sharma, Marcella Torres-Sánches, Jen McClary, and Suzanne Guyot-Rice. Featuring site-specific works, dance films, and in-theater performances, each evening concludes with an intimate artist Q&A.
