Set in motion by Reyes’ adult Type 2 diabetes diagnosis, String Quartet No.ATE is a new evening-length dance exploring the tension between food, pleasure, and health. Accompanied by a live music performance of Shostakovich’s String Quartet No.8 by One Found Sound, this work moves through desire, temptation, obsession and resilience.
