Daiane Lopes da Silva: From Ideating to Performing: contemporary performance workshop

With the guidance of Daiane Lopes da Silva, participants will explore various strategies to create a contemporary dance piece in a fun and collaborative environment. This is an opportunity for dancers to not only learn set material but also engage creatively from ideation to performance.
Through brainstorming, improvisation, deconstruction of set material, and choice making, we will build a piece from scratch and perform it at Studio B with lighting, costumes and a great audience. All intermediate and advanced movers are encouraged to participate. Performances Sat-Sun, Jun 8-9.
