Join Black Futures Artist Ashanti Hazina for a special therapeutic movement workshop at the Zaccho Studio. This event is designed to welcome movement art lovers, practitioners, mentors, and anyone eager to explore the transformative power of movement and embodiment, drawing inspiration from African-centered art practices. Movement Moments is more than a workshop; it’s an opportunity for participants to embark on a journey of self-discovery and emotional expression through intentional movement. Integrating elements from Ashanti’s artistic practice and African-centered art practices, this interactive event aims to guide participants in crafting a unique movement that encapsulates and communicates a significant aspect of their personal story.

Please know that we only have 15 spots available for this workshop! Preference will be given to Bayview/ Hunters Point Residents. Link to register: https://forms.gle/CmnNqt7Ngqbcv3i18
