Sara Shelton Mann: Being in the Body/from the Ground Up

The Body is an Orchestra.

Feet, limbs, pelvis, navel, solar plexus, heart, throat and eyes, crown. We dance the relationships of physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies as dynamic partnerships with the imagination freed up, the senses turned inward and outward – we dance.

This workshop is both for beginners and advanced. Tools – trust, hands, qigong to clean and energize the bodies, writing, visualizing and sharing to create community and enlarge our intentions for healing and healthy relationships.

Being in the Body. Our exploration will be a marriage of technique and improvisation, of energy and structure. We will practice being beginners in the body as play, as wisdom, as poetry, as architecture and as an orchestra. Two important tools – the imagination and our hands as touch from the ground up.
