De Anza High School: Dance teacher (0.5 FTE)

De Anza High School seeks a credentialed Dance teacher for the 2024-25 school year. The position is currently 0.5 FTE, with the possibility to expand the program in the future.

The position entails teaching three levels of dance classes (Dance 1, Dance 2, Dance Production), collaborating within the VAPA department, and organizing the spring dance concert.

De Anza’s dance program has combined instruction in concert dance techniques, culturally-specific traditional dance forms, and creative work and choreography. The ideal candidate would be proficient in teaching both technique and choreography as well as some traditional dance forms.
