Ms. Marian’s Dance Garden: Contemporary Choreography Lab

This 5-day Camp is designed for Intermediate-Advanced students in Grades 6-12 with a background in Contemporary and/or Ballet who are interested in expanding their vocabulary with Contemporary Dance and Choreography. Dancers will create a composition during the week and work on their Choreography skills, asking: “What is the motivation behind my work?” “How can I use my experience to create a choreographic work?” “How does a dance grow as it develops and finally, is performed?” “How does my art fit into my personal life and the world at large?” Ballet + Contemporary technique class is offered daily.
