Modern Dance Audition

For our 20th anniversary season, NCDE seeks experienced modern dancers, who will be paid monthly for development and performance of new and repertory work. We prefer to develop long-term relationships; minimum one-year commitment required. The company offers challenging material in a fun and supportive rehearsal environment; choreographic opportunities will also be available. Company members will be eligible to attend summer dance camp in 2025 for the creation of site-specific work. Auditions run like an informal class, with a group warm-up followed by learning a phrase. No need to prepare any materials in advance. Bring a CV if you have one, but it is not required. Come with comfortable dance clothes and an open mind!
