Be a part of the Magic of San Jose’s favorite Nutcracker! Audition for the 60th anniversary production of The Nutcracker held at The Center for Performing Arts in San Jose December 12th-14th & 20th-21st, 2025. Live Orchestra.
Auditions will be held on September 6th & 7th, 2025
September 6th-
Ages 6-8: 11:00am-12:00pm
Ages 8-10: 1:00pm- 2:00pm
Adults/Actors: 2:00pm-3:00pm
September 7th-
Ages 11-14 (Intermediate) 10:00am-11:00am
Ages 13+ 2+ years on pointe (Advanced) 11:00am-12:30pm
Welcoming dancers of all levels, beginning through advanced, to attend the PUSHlab Scholarship Audition! Experience sample exercises from each of our amazing choreographers, meet other dancers interested in performing, and potentially receive a partial scholarship for PUSHlab, a 6-week workshop series culminating in a performance at PUSHfest in October.

AXIS Dance Company seeks a full-time disabled, non-disabled, D/deaf, or neurodivergent dancer for the 2025/26 seasons – a physically disabled dancer is highly desired.
AXIS offers competitive compensation with a salary based on experience. This is a full-time position for 43 contracted weeks. A robust benefits package, including health insurance, paid holidays, set paid time off and monthly physical therapy, is included.
All material must be submitted no later than Saturday, July 26th, 2025 by 11:50pm PST to be considered for the position. All applicants will receive notification by August 4th, 2025, indicating whether or not an invitation to audition on August 15th, 2025 is offered.

From ages 3 and a half to adults, absolute beginners to professionals, we have a role for you! Visit our website to see a breakdown of our audition schedule, and a rehearsal schedule for each role! All people intending to participate are required to register!

We are casting dancers of all genders for YES! and encourage BIPOC folx to audition. We have a draft of this piece but are looking for collaborators to help us continue to shape and perform it.
We are specifically looking for femme-presenting dancers of Japanese-American descent to cast in IKKAI. This is a set piece of repertoire and we will just be making small changes to adjust for the new cast.
