We are seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Dance Instructor for in-school dance education. Applicant will be assisting Lead Instructor in Introductory movement classes in a variety of dance forms.
Classes typically run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays – variably between 9am-12pm. Applicant will be assisting with 2nd Grade Classrooms, 3rd Grade Classrooms, and a classroom for students with disabilities.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience teaching or assisting with dance classes
Experience in more than 3 forms of dance
Main objective is to provide self-expression, communication, and creativity through movement
Cultivate a safe, healthy, structured environment that is student focused
