The Assistant Director of Education is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily educational programs and initiatives within en Avant School, an outreach academy bringing high quality dance opportunities and tutoring to youth from underserved families.

This position requires a visionary leader who can strategically manage educational operations in close cooperation with the Director of Education. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dance pedagogy, academics and communication.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Benefits: Dental and Health Insurance

Position is on site – must be willing to commute.

Lighthouse Theatre Arts is in our first year and we are hiring! We need passionate teachers in all areas of dance, as well as a drama teacher who LOVES working with kids. Berkeley City Ballet is seeking ballet teachers for the 2025-26 school year. We are looking for instructors who are comfortable teaching all ages, 2.5 – adults. Applicants should have a strong background in ballet and experience teaching young children. Classes take place weekdays between 3pm and 8pm and Saturday mornings.

For over 41 years, we’ve created a welcoming space where dancers of all ages and levels thrive. We’re currently seeking energetic, experienced instructors for ages 2–adult in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, and competition groups.
