The Kids on the Move Coordinator is a movement instructor and administrator responsible for teaching classes for children/youth and overseeing Project Commotion’s (PC) privately funded contracts and facilitating Jardín Family Playgroups and Project Commotion Movement Classes. The coordinator delivers classes in PC’s movement-based curricula to infants through elementary aged students and manages program-related administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of multiple programs. This role combines educational instruction, leadership, and administrative support to contribute to the overall success of the organization. The Kids on the Move Coordinator works across three programs: Schools on the Move, Jardín Family Playgroups, and PC Movement Classes.

Performance Schedule
– Decisions Released: September 7th
– In-Progress Showing: November 7th (time TBD)
– Tech rehearsal(s): December 1st from 12-5 PM and December 2nd from 2-7 PM
– Performance date(s): December 3rd, 4th, 5th, at 7 PM at the Joe Goode Annex
Selected choreographers will receive a stipend of $275-$400 following the performance, with the amount determined by the number of performers in the piece.

Dance Canvas welcomes choreographers to apply for the 2026-27 Choreographer Career Development Initiative. This season, we ask choreographers to respond to the prompt: NOW! “What feels urgent, or impossible to ignore right now?”
Dance Canvas will select up to 10 choreographers to be part of the Choreographer Career Development Initiative. Dance Canvas choreographers will create, incubate, receive feedback and present their choreography to Atlanta Audiences. Dancers and resources provided. The program will end in a Performance Series at the Rialto Center for the Arts in Atlanta, GA on March 19th & 20th 2027!

Reporting to and in partnership with the Artistic Executive Director (AED) and Managing Director (MD), the Development Steward is responsible for designing and implementing FY26 development strategy. This involves identifying and cultivating major gift prospects, as well as corporate and foundation donors, and planning and executing grant and donor efforts to raise funds for the organization. The Development Steward will work closely with the Artistic Executive and Managing Director to develop fundraising goals and strategies that align with the organization’s mission and values.
