Alameda Civic Ballet is seeking a male dancer for the featured role of Mouse King in our 2026 Nutcracker.
Rehearsals: Sundays in Alameda
3:50–5:20 PM, through December 6
Additional required studio dress and theatre rehearsals are December 12–17.
Performances:
Saturday, December 19 at 2:00 PM
Sunday, December 20 at 2:00 PM

$700 per performance + 2 complimentary tickets

POSITION SUMMARY:
Smuin Ballet is hiring an experienced Technical Director to join as an integral member of a 4-person production team and reports directly to the Production Director. This role primarily oversees the technical stage elements of all Smuin Ballet productions, while also supporting the production department with touring and external rentals. An ideal candidate has a strong background in theater production and management, technical design and implementation skills, and team leadership skills.
To facilitate a smooth transition, Smuin Ballet would like to have the successful candidate join the crew and shadow our outgoing TD.
We are looking for an experienced lighting designer for an upcoming dance-theater performance at Central Stage in Richmond.
The show dates are Dec 5 & 6, with a dress rehearsal on Dec 4.
We also have a run-through of the show on Nov 21, which would be a good time to observe both the performance and the venue/equipment prior to designing the lighting.
Should have experience programming a digital lighting board. Attendance at the run-through on Nov 21 in addition to the dress rehearsal and shows (Dec 4-6) is required.

Kristin Damrow & Company is seeking five audience guides for TASTE, an experiential dance performance at Space 124 at Project Artaud. Guides will lead audiences through the space and support the flow of the experience. This is not a dancing role, but guides will be visible among the performers and assist with light show prep and strike of small scenic items.
Seeking timely, reliable people with a confident, welcoming presence who are comfortable directing groups and responding calmly in real time.

Fantasy Dance School in Mountain View, CA is seeking an experienced Hip-Hop Dance Instructor / Choreographer to join our faculty!
This part-time position focuses on teaching recreational hip-hop classes to children and teens, with potential competition teaching and choreography opportunities in future seasons.
Applicants should have strong hip-hop training, previous youth teaching experience, choreography skills, and excellent classroom management.
