Now Hiring: Saturday Ballet Teacher

Alameda Ballet Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable ballet teacher to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 school year.

The school year runs August 17, 2026 through June 9, 2027.

Teaching assignments may include students ages 3 through teen, depending on the teacher’s experience, strengths, and class placement.

Ideal candidates will:

Have strong classical ballet training
Be organized, positive, and professional
Create a nurturing yet structured classroom environment
Be comfortable adapting teaching styles for different age groups

Saturday teaching hours will vary based on class assignments and enrollment.

Additional weekday subbing and future teaching opportunities may also become available throughout the year.

Compensation: $50/hour

FACT/SF is hiring! FACT/SF is looking to hire a Bay Area–based Executive Assistant for Community Coordination to begin work in August 2026. All applicants who are invited to interview or audition will be paid $30/hour for their time.

The Community Coordinator is a new position at FACT/SF, with the specific aim of strengthening the relationships between FACT/SF and the individuals in our wonderful community. This role is a combination of individual donor development, project management, scheduling, brainstorming, creating briefs, and organizing follow-ups. Successful candidates will have the ability to quickly learn and understand the inner workings of FACT/SF, our tactics and strategies, and how all the various community members form the larger FACT/SF ecosystem.

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Dance Instructor for in-school dance education. Applicant will be assisting Lead Instructor in Introductory movement classes in a variety of dance forms.

Classes typically run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays – variably between 9am-12pm. Applicant will be assisting with 2nd Grade Classrooms, 3rd Grade Classrooms, and a classroom for students with disabilities.

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience teaching or assisting with dance classes
Experience in more than 3 forms of dance
Main objective is to provide self-expression, communication, and creativity through movement
Cultivate a safe, healthy, structured environment that is student focused

Refine Dance Collective is a new boutique dance studio opening this summer, specializing in ballet, contemporary, and jazz dance. We are seeking guest artists for master classes this summer with the opportunity for increased teaching hours in the fall.
