Funsch Dance: Death Pod and kid subjunctive

May 28, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Nol Simonse and Christy Funsch wold love your feedback! They invite you to in-progress performances of their new works:

Nol’s “Death Pod” (Saturday), created with performer Jim Cave, is based around the questions: “why are we obsessed with death? Why are we fearful of death? What does dying mean to us?” and “how do we want to handle our own death?”

Christy’s “kid subjunctive” (Sunday) is a new group work that embodies collective futurism. Framed as a physical adventure of accountability, “kid subjunctive” is accompanied by a score generated from live and recorded performer vocalizations.
