Akruthi Performing Arts, a Bharathanatyam and Carnatic Music Academy based in San Jose, CA, is now enrolling students of all ages for Fall 2024 Bharathanatyam classes.  We work closely with our students to understand their strengths and offer a customized approach to catapult them into becoming independent artists with an emphasis on creativity and improvisation. We offer both individual and group classes.

Classes are led by Smt. Shruthi Aravindan. She has pursued Bharathanatyam dance training for over 20 years. She successfully completed her Bharathanatyam arangetram in August 2008 at the age of 10. Since then, she has been an ardent performer, instructor, and budding composer. Shruthi’s expertise in dance, music, and rhythm gives her a unique vantage point to synthesize these multiple disciplines in her creative explorations.
