Studio Space for Rent in West Oakland

For over 15 years our studio in West Oakland has provided space for dancers, teachers, choreographers, photographers, musicians and area facilitators to gather and work – a community hub for movement artists and others working in the East Bay. In 2022 BANDALOOP signed a 20-year lease for the expansion and modernization of the facility, growing our size to 8,000 square feet across two studios.

The new and improved facility, BANDALOOP Studios, includes: two 40×40 ADA dance floors, three 28 foot dance walls, a double wide mezzanine office suite for staff, dancers, technicians, and visiting artists, a wardrobe & fitting room for costume design, a full changing area with ADA bathrooms, as well as updated glass storefront door access, climate control, and insulation. Among other attributes, BANDALOOP Studios features a mixture of dance floor, dance wall, climbing wall, and trampoline wall with a state of the art sound system.
