Raks Africa’s Etang Inyang and Tammy Johnson are the recipient of the 2015 Dancers Choice Award and they will be acknowledged at a free public event on Friday, April 24 at 12noon during the kick off for Bay Area Dance Week. Join us to celebrate Etang and Tammy on this day in San Francisco’s Union Square Park. The annual Dancers Choice Award celebrates individuals and organizations that are creatively impacting dance. Etang and Tammy were selected from a stellar group of nominees—ranging from schools and performance spaces, to dance masters, to emerging and established artists and administrators, of which they were one of over 120 nominations that the dance community submitted.
