May 31, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$15 – $28

The 350 + Millions of Moving Targets is an intergenerational, multidisciplinary dance theater performance that addresses the ongoing refugee crisis in the Mediterranean. The work draws on the choreographer’s experiences as a refugee during the Congolese civil war and the role that dance, music, and theater plays in healing trauma.

The intergenerational cast is comprised of dancers and non- dancers, including those who have had direct experience with forced migration.

The 350 + Millions of Moving Targets depends on the power of embodied storytelling to focus our attention on solutions and away from emotional catharsis. The hope is that the performance will educate audiences about this ongoing crisis and offer direction toward resources to take action in the form of donations, petitions, and outreach.

This project is funded and supported by Dancers Group Cash Grant.
