CALLED is a dance performance that takes place at St Ignatius Church, featuring the Dance Generators, an intergenerational dance company housed at the University of San Francisco’s Performing Arts & Social Justice Department. The cast uses abstraction, metaphor, and symbol to animate spirituality in familiar spaces in new ways. The work ritualizes and reimagines new Gods that call us in to one another at a time of global and political divisions.
