Choreography connects our body with our subconscious via movement. We conjure up a magical world where we move through. How to build that, to find the river that flows deep in us? This workshop connects our body and mind using choreography through guided exercises. We will work on approaches to improvisation to generate original material and challenge our movement habits, then play with choreographic structure to discover ways of putting a dance together. Designed for dancers and choreographers of all levels, we conclude with an informal showing for people who wish to share their discoveries.
