Cirque de la Luna: HYSTERIA!
A dancer is elevated off the floor by holding 2 long red ropes. She is hunched over, face obscured, with her long blonde hair whipping around her as she spins. She wears sheer and torn nylon tights and her body language tells us she is experiencing grief and pain.

The production is an eerie and artful blend of dance, circus, performance art, shibari, and body horror crashing into a one-of-a-kind visceral experience. Envisioned and directed by Anna Yanushkevich of Cirque de la Luna, choreographed by Anna and Cirque de Luna corps performers, and staged by the creative powerhouse duo comprising Little Boxes Theater in the beating heart of San Francisco.
