An immersive experience featuring dance, poetry, video, and visual art presented by Destiny Arts Center at YBCA.

Artists Marc Bamuthi Joseph, Brett Cook, Sarah Crowell, Rashidi Omari, and Risa Jaroslow collaborated with the Destiny Arts Youth Performance Company and the Destiny Elders Project to create a community project that celebrates and honors the lives of six Black young people—who died before the age of 32—through collective grieving and healing.

This one-day-only series of performances marks the first public showing of The Black (W)hole and will be staged inside of Brett Cook & Liz Lerman: Reflection & Action currently on view in the YBCA galleries.
