Janice Ross, author of a new book on the dancer Anna Halprin and her Landscape Architect husband, Lawrence Halprin, presents a video discussion of their dance and urban design projects in San Francisco. Exploring their Marin home as a hidden archive of objects influencing their art she presents a slide and video tour of urban spaces like Levi’s Plaza and  Stern Grove, and street dances like Blank Placard Dance and The Bust, their works that turned the city into a theatre of moving bodies.
