Join Deborah Slater Dance Theater for a work-in-progress showing of their latest project, In the Presence of Absence. Artistic Director Deborah Slater and culture curator & choreographer Tammy Johnson, have begun a collaboration interviewing people from all walks of life on what moment in the past 2 years resonated or was life changing in some way. Coupled with dances by DSDT performers and poems from Youth Speaks — a leading presenter of spoken word performance, education, and youth development programs, these responses have made visible all our desire for community and has been a revelation in the wonder of our differences.

The evening will include performances by DSDT company members and discussion led by Deborah Slater & Tammy Johnson. Limited in-person seating is available. Livestream attendance available on Friday Only.
