Ballet22 & The City of Oakland presents: Miche Wong

Dancer & choreographer Miche Wong presents her latest work in progress alongside performers Jeremy Bannon-Neches, Ryan Rouland Smith, Jaime Garcia Castilla, and composer Ko Wong-Horiuchi.

About the work:
The evolution of the Chinese character for Qi started as three lines stacked on top of each other signifying vapor, a subtly seen but energetic driven action. The transmission of energy is happening around us all the time, oftentimes unseen. Miche and Ko aim to highlight the visual and audio texture of the energy that moves through us all in different forms.

Following the showcase of the work will be a Q& A with the artists.
