The adventure and endless possibilities of summer come alive in this showcase of returning ballet works by Bay Area choreographers Jessica Woodman, Edgar Lepe, and Robert Burns Lowman. Jessica Woodman’s “Mosaic” explores dichotomies of slow vs fast, soft vs sharp, and precision vs flow in pas de deux and ensemble forms. Robert Burns Lowman’s “Embrace” imagines a romantic sunset picnic for two different pairs of lovers; and travel delays become an opportunity for playful dance moments in a Charlie Chaplin-inspired solo.
