Saint Mary’s College Dance Company presents VIII: a Virtual Dance Performance

Created by eight Dance Majors from the Class of 2021.

In this uncharted time of self and collective transformation, these emerging choreographers have persisted in making thoughtful art investigating timely concepts of connection, isolation, societal pressure, conformity, anxiety, seeking the truth, resilience, and adaptation.

The concert will also feature a tap dance on film by Guest Artist and SMC alumna Micah Sallid, a dance-theater work by Prof. Jia Wu, and a duet investigating memory by Prof. CatherineMarie Davalos. It will be live-streamed.
