Join Oceánica Ballet for an evening of autumn-themed story ballets!
Act 1 premieres selections from P1N0CCH10, exploring humanity, AI, and our relationship with nature through Carlo Collodi’s classic tale. Carmilla stages a mysterious masquerade ball from Sheridan Le Fanu’s groundbreaking sapphic vampire novella.
Act 2 features the return of Viva La Vida, the original story of Lucio and Lupita in a joyful folklórico-infused tale about transcending loss and the resilience of love, inspired by Día de los Muertos.
Throughout all 3 stories, the wisdom of women across time and cultures is amplified
A smiling dancer in a vibrant teal and lime green dress, pointe shoes, and sugar skull makeup performs a joyful balletic leap against a black and purple gradient backdrop featuring colorful papel… picado hanging in receding rows.
