Intimate Visibility
A collision of new media, dance, and flash mob.
March 16-27, 2010
San Francisco
Intimate Visibility kicked off in Washington Square Plaza and Union Square Plaza on March 17, 2010 at 8pm. The two lead dancers and 25+ community members set up a special lighting fixture and broke out into spontaneous performances in the open public spaces. For another five days, Intimate Visibility had two performances a night in San Francisco. These performances occurred at Ferry Building Plaza, Pier 39, Castro Street Plaza @ Market, United Nations Plaza, and Powell & Market Cable Car Turnaround. Each performance featured two lead performers and a mass number of community members who were spread out in the crowd and broke out into flash mob movement in the middle of the piece.
