Intro to Balinese Dance
This class will be led by GSJ 2026 Balinese Guest Dance Director, Ida Ayu Wayan Arya Satyani. Students will be introduced to the foundational movements of classical Balinese dance, with a focus on dance styles classified by basic postures known as Agem. This is a special and unique opportunity to learn from a Master Balinese artist in Berkeley.
Students of all movement background and experiences welcome! No prior dance experience necessary.
