Children ages 5–11 explore hip hop, jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, theater, and more with our upcoming Summer Camp Staff — no experience needed. Nava Dance
Nava Dance is a holistic movement practice that draws inspiration from Western and Central Asian dance traditions, contemporary dance, and devotional whirling. Rooted in embodied ritual and the power of the sacred circle, Nava Dance draws upon indigenous movement wisdom to guide participants into deeper connection with themselves and the universe. Classes give a sense of movement journey from subtle somatic inquiry to ecstatic cathartic release. We begin with breath, grounding and guided improvisation, then move into combinations, circle dances, and various kinds of spinning techniques!

Mark Foehringer Dance Project|SF (MFDP|SF) presents its annual, FREE, outdoor event at the Music Concourse in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Dancing in the Park SF features dance artists including professional dance companies, pre-professional programs, and community groups from around the Bay Area that perform onstage under the bandshell.
