imprint is an annual dance writing fellowship program designed for QTBIPOC dance writers. Artistic Director Bhumi B Patel will support three emerging dance writers through writing and publishing mentorship and professional development as a dance writer.

-Applications due: Monday, June 16th, 11:59pm
-Program year: Sep 1, 2025 – Sep 1, 2026
-3 fellows will be selected
-Each fellow receives $500 stipend
-For emerging dance writers who identify as BIPOC and/or queer/LGBTQIA2S+. Not intended for full-time students.
-30 hours of work/study
-Attending at least 5 dance performances
-Fellows will have 2-3 pieces of writing published on pateldancework’s website blog
