Call for Contemporary Dancers: Other Place Research Period and Studio Showing

Choreographer Savannah Dunn is seeking dancers with classical training and a strong contemporary background to learn a duet in development. This work will be shown at Sketching II, a works-in-progress and discussion series hosted by Other Place on October 24, 2026.

Summer 2027 International Residency Exchange with Atland and Moulin Belle

Atland and Moulin Belle are partnering up to offer an international self-directed artist-in-residence program for dance artists and collaborators in 2027. Selected artists will be awarded a week-long research residency period in Périgord, France from May 4-11, and a week-long residency in Western Massachusetts in August, culminating in an invited public showing. Both residencies provide a remote setting, allowing artists the opportunity to work in relative seclusion. The residency offers free lodging and studio space for contemplation and productivity, and is ideal for artistic research and collaboration. The chosen artist group will be awarded $500 to go towards travel. There is an application fee of $10 that will go towards admin costs, with any remainder going towards the chosen artists.

KikiTora Motion Capture — Specialty Movement Performers

SEEKING — Specialty Movement Performer. All genders, 18+, all ethnicities, all body types. Acrobats, contortionists, hand balancers, advanced yoga practitioners, martial artists (wushu, capoeira, BJJ, muay thai, taekwondo), tricking and parkour athletes, and dancers with exceptional range.

We capture movement for animation reference and model training. Casting is on physical ability, not look.

You’re a strong fit if you can:

Perform your specialty repeatedly and consistently across a full session
Work comfortably in a form-fitting marker suit
Details: 6-hour session on site, 30-minute lunch provided, paid via Gusto, performer agreement signed in advance by e-signature.
Submit: photo, resume if you have one, and — most important — video of you moving.

Radiate Fellowship

RAWdance is excited to launch a 3rd round of the Radiate Fellowship — an 18-month paid opportunity supporting early-career dance artists as they pursue their own journeys and goals (artistic, administrative, activist, and any permutation in between) by expanding resources, emphasizing relationship building, and providing a mindful structure for explorations and discovery. Radiate focuses on elevating underrepresented artistic voices and visions through personalized, individual support. Each experience in the program is designed by the Fellow to serve their specific needs, with support from the team at RAWdance.

We’re so excited to open our ’26-’27 Season Auditions! Independent Chinese Dancers is a collective of Chinese dancers and allies who use traditional arts to tell our original stories firmly rooted in our own experiences in the Bay Area and throughout the world.

We have openings in our Chinese dance, dramaturgy, stage and production management, grants, lighting and sound design, composition and musicians, photography/videography, and visual design teams until August 31st Every team has both experienced and intro level positions open, so whether you want to deepen your craft or branch out to something new, we are here to support you!

Note Chinese dance is a series of dance styles, not an ethnicity or identity. We welcome team members from every ethnicity and national origin.

Call for 2026-2027 Choreographers Career Development Initiative

Dance Canvas welcomes choreographers to apply for the 2026-27 Choreographer Career Development Initiative. This season, we ask choreographers to respond to the prompt: NOW! “What feels urgent, or impossible to ignore right now?”

Dance Canvas will select up to 10 choreographers to be part of the Choreographer Career Development Initiative. Dance Canvas choreographers will create, incubate, receive feedback and present their choreography to Atlanta Audiences. Dancers and resources provided. The program will end in a Performance Series at the Rialto Center for the Arts in Atlanta, GA on March 19th & 20th 2027!
