The Improbable Evolution of the Caterpillar follows multiple concepts that are explored through small soliloquies that Vida Manzo has written in the form of spoken word poetry. These themes play out through the show depicting shift and change for the main character, in a way that immersive and raw.

Themes like mental health, Queerness, relationships, and culture will be touched on through dance sequences, poetry and projections.
