The Emerging Artist Series aims to spotlight upcoming stars in the field of Indian Classical Dance. This edition features Janhavi Pillai who will be presenting Kathakali – a major classical Indian dance-drama from Kerala, India, known for its vibrant makeup, massive headgear, and intricate facial expressions. The 45 minute performance will be followed by a Q&A session with the artist. This event is free for all.
