Youth dance teacher
The East Bay Dance Center has been an anchor for the Arts in Oakland for over 30 years, and we are looking to expand our youth dance staff! Our youth dance program currently includes hip-hop, breakdancing, ballet, jazz, tap, and cultural dance – and we are always looking for passionate teachers who can bring more offerings to our roster. Our immediate staffing need is for our Winter Camp session, which runs December 23rd to January 3rd for dancers ages 4-9. Available time slots during Winter Camp are 10-12am, and 1-3pm. Winter Camp is a fantastic way for new teachers to take on minimal shifts while introducing them to our community and culture. Winter Camp staff will also be given the opportunity to take on either regular or substitute teaching assignments in 2025. Pay: $25-$35/hr, DOE.
