“Sundance in the Castro” is a two-stepping and line dancing block party, including 5-minute novice lessons every half hour. Enjoy outdoor dancing in the street on our portable dance floor on Noe Street, between Market & Beaver. We’ll have an open format of country-western dancing, including gender-neutral partner dancing (two-step, waltz, and swing) and line dancing, plus lots of lessons to get everyone onto the dance floor. We are primarily an LGBTQ+ group, but all are welcome as long as you don’t care who dances with whom! Free, open to all ages.

Join Big Moves for a day of beginner-friendly classes with the most joyful & body-positive instructors on the block. We’re serving up Belly Dance, Soul Dance, Line Dance, Tap Dance and more! Morning Session (10am-12:30pm) is online only on Zoom and the Afternoon Session (2pm-5pm) will be in-person at The Beat in Berkeley with a Zoom option.
