AXIS Dance Company is currently seeking a Development Manager. They are looking for someone who is passionate about the arts and fearless about fundraising. You will play an essential role in AXIS’ future growth. You’ll work closely with the Executive Director, Artistic Director and our Board to implement innovative strategies for gaining and sustaining ongoing support from foundations, corporations and individual donors. The Development Manager will lead the successful implementation of AXIS’ contributed income strategies, to include grants, mail solicitations, web strategy, events, donor research and board relations. You will be responsible for leading all development efforts and maintaining accurate records.

Golden Thread Productions is looking to hire a full-time Marketing and Patron Services Manager.

Building on a sustained period of audience growth and community engagement, the Marketing and Patron Services Manager creates strategy and implements institutional and programmatic marketing and PR plans, increases online engagement, plans and manages all box office and front of house activities, and helps build Golden Thread’s visibility and reputation locally and nationally.

This is a full-time exempt salaried position reporting to the managing director. Salary range $40K-$44K/yr

The ideal candidate would be a strategic thinker and self-starter who is organized and detail-oriented with 2-3 years of experience in arts marketing, communications, and patron services. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of WordPress, email creation software like Mailchimp, and a CRM database like Patron Manager is required. Familiarity with graphic design (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop Elements) is preferred.

Some work may be done remotely.

Calliope Dance Studio offers dance education to children ages 3-15 in the Noe Valley neighborhood of San Francisco (CA). Calliope Dance Studio is looking for a dance teacher who loves to work with children and can enjoy a curriculum that is based on a unique approach to dance education following somatic and child development theories. Position will be for teaching all ages at the studio as well as school outreach programs, mainly younger dancers.

The Administrative and Studio Coordinator supports the Company Manager (CM) and Executive Artistic Director (EAD) in all aspects of LEVYdance, LEVYsalon Artist in Residence Program and LEVYstudio activities. This includes general office organization, studio maintenance and improvements, and online marketing. The position also acts as point of contact for studio renters, which involves fielding all studio rental inquiries, as well as scheduling, contracting, and invoicing renters. Additional duties might include, but are not limited to: assisting with special company events and performances, individual donor relations, and general office organization.

Marin Academy Hip Hop Dance Teacher

January 8, 2019 – May 20, 2019

Marin Academy is seeking an experienced Hip Hop teacher for a part-time, one-semester position. The course meets every other day for 75 minutes from 8-9:15 am. The position also requires developing a piece with the Hip Hop class – during class time – to be performed during the MA Spring Dance Assemblies and Evening Concert performances on April 26th and 27th. The teacher also leads tech rehearsals for the Hip Hop piece outside class time from April 23rd-25th (afternoons/evenings). Other duties include writing comments, grading, answering email, and working with the MA Dance Company and concert director to provide publicity, program notes and other concert information, as well as coordinating/communicating with costume, lighting, and sound needs for the Hip Hop piece to the Technical Director and Designers.
