New Ballet: San Jose Dances is the inaugural ballet production presented by The Hammer Theatre Center after their renovation to accommodate high definition, live-streamed productions! The evening will be performed in accordance to all local and state health and safety recommendations.

On the program is a celebration of ballet virtuosity danced by New Ballet’s Company Dancers to an arrangement of Paganini for cello performed live by New Ballet Conductor Thomas Shoebotham, as well as a world premiere contemporary ballet choreographed by Dalia Rawson titled “In the Time” danced to compositions by award-winning local composer Peter Colclasure and performed live for the first time by string quartet and piano. Guest speakers and other fun surprises will make this 50 minute presentation a fun night for the whole family.
